Founded in 1986 by William E. Stauffer Jr. and Myra J. Stauffer, as a
sole proprietor, Stauffer's Landscape began operation in Elsinore.  The
entire company consisted of 12 employees including Myra and William.
They moved the business to Redlands in 1987, finding a need to be closer
to their customer base in the growing Inland Empire. 

Myra and William incorporated in 1990.  In 1991 Myra and William's sons joined the
growing business.  Both sons started their careers working in the field
and learning all aspects of the trade.  In 1999 Stauffer's made their
first expansion to Escondido.  Finding the operational improvements to
be marginal Escondido closed in 2002. 

In early 2004, both sons Daniel and William III became officers of the company.  Daniel became Chief Sales Officer and William III became Chief Operations Officer.  Poised with an experienced staff and an employee base that reached about 400
Stauffer's Landscape again decided to expand. 

This time the High Desert was targeted as an operational outpost and was opened in March 2004. William Jr. would head operations in the desert while leaving WilliamIII to run the majority of the operations from the Redlands headquarters.  In 2005 we opened a facility in Meniffe to accommodate the growing needs of Southern California.
